We are proud to work with Transcend Packaging, Tams Packaging, Reelbrands and A Plastic Planet to introduce you to the world’s first plastic-free certified protective visor, the EcoShield FLIP.

The Problem:

• The demand for PPE for key workers, general employees and the public is huge and rising.
• In Ireland and the UK alone, since February 25th, some 900 million items of PPE were distributed to frontline staff. But while PPE is necessary for protecting frontline workers around the world, it is also coming at a cost to the planet.
• The vast majority of this PPE will be fossil-fuel plastic and much of it will end up in our environment after only one use.

The Solution:

• The new EcoShield FLIP Plastic Free Visor is made of FSC food-grade paper board and PEFC renewable and sustainable wood pulp.
• Eliminates unintentional contact with your face and prevents droplets from passing through the shielded area. These are two of the highest risk factors associated with the spread of COVID-19.

Packing:

• EcoShields are packed in a BRC ‘AA’ food standard production facility.
• They are packed in home compostable corrugated outers with paper sealing tape. Zero petro-based plastic.
